Shipping & Delivery
For in store purchases and phone orders we offer multiple shipping options. Industrial Home strives to deliver your purchase with excellent service and commitment to detail. Select items are delivered by either “Drop Ship”, “Over Threshold”, or “Threshold” if they require no assembly. “Drop Ship” items may not require a signature. “Over Threshold” items are brought inside the delivery address but not unpackaged. “Threshold” items are brought to the door.
For each order shipping to one address, we offer flat rate delivery on applicable products. Items that require assembly and other select items are delivered via a “White Glove” delivery service. This service includes un-boxing, inspection, assembly, placement, and boxing material removal.
Delivery is currently restricted in the following states: AL ID KY LA ME MI MO ND NE NH NM NY OR SD VT WV. If you live in one of these states, please call to learn about potential shipping options.
In addition we do not deliver outside the continental United States. For any questions regarding an item’s shipping or delivery, please call the store at 301-360-0600 or email at email@example.com prior to purchase. For delivery purposes please provide a daytime number when ordering.
SCHEDULING YOUR DELIVERY
Once you are notified that items are ready for delivery, we ask that you take receipt of them within 30 days. To ensure successful delivery, please share any special instructions or delivery requirements at the time of scheduling. Be sure to inform us of restricted delivery times, necessary access codes, multiple flights of stairs, service elevator reservations, narrow roads or driveways, or proof of insurance for high rise and condominium buildings.
Smaller items, including gifts, decor, lighting fixtures, and some small furniture, will be shipped via our preferred freight carrier.
Select furniture and larger non-furniture items will be delivered to you by experienced white glove professionals.
Extremely large, heavy or fragile items cost more to ship and require additional delivery support and care in handling, thus incurring a surcharge.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON DELIVERY DAY
Many furniture items and select non-furniture items include delivery inside your home, where experienced white glove delivery service professionals will carefully unpack and inspect each item, assemble it and place it in your room of choice. Please note that we do not unpack lighting, and certain other restrictions may apply. For your convenience, all packing materials will be removed. We ask that you closely inspect your item(s) before our delivery professionals leave your home.
Our delivery professionals are not permitted to move furniture currently in your home, nor are they allowed to move or set up electrical equipment. To facilitate delivery, please clear the space where furniture or rugs will be placed prior to delivery.
An authorized individual must be home during your scheduled delivery window to accept and inspect your items and sign the delivery receipt.
In the event of any imperfection noted at the time of delivery, we will replace the item or schedule a furniture medic or service technician to repair the issue at no charge to you. Contact Us for more information.
We do everything we can to ensure that all prices and information on our website are correct. All purchases are subject to applicable state and local taxes and laws. Availability, prices and delivery rates are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions in the prices, descriptions or images of certain merchandise, and restrict orders of those items.
